Oak class have thought about how important Netheravon church is as a place of remembrance. We looked at photographs of the church and used this to inspire a whole class project to make a model of it. Some children were so inspired that they made their own versions using Duplo and wooden blocks. We then looked at images of churches being decorated for Remembrance services and decided to decorate our church in poppies. The children also learnt the poem “Little Poppy” and performed it in our Remembrance service.
